Got a letter in the mail saying I was distinguished, website went black

I got a letter in the mail saying I was among the most distinguished in the state for counseling. It told me to go to a website to confirm my information. The website was yourname.bestinmedicine.com, from an address in Petersburg, VA.

I typed in my name like it said. The screen just went black. I have no idea what happened after I clicked enter. It felt off. Nothing loaded, just a black screen. I didn't give any money but I don't know what information might have been taken in the background.
