Paid $340 to BetterPathLending.com for a loan consolidation that never happened

I got a call from BetterPathLending.com, from someone named Monica Paterson. She said her company could help me consolidate my loans and credit card bills into one payment with a lower interest rate. She went over all my amounts right there on the phone.

She said the payment would be $340.13 a month. They needed three months of payments before they could finance everything. The first one was supposed to be on 3/12. I was told not to use the cards or pay the companies directly. They said my credit score would drop but the money was going into an escrow.

I paid the $340.13. My bank transaction shows the money went to a company called Forth. So I called Forth, and they have no record of me or my payment. I never got the information packet they promised to email me either. I just lost that money.
