Lost $200 deposit on a puppy that never came

I went through the whole process with this person from an ad. We did an application, messaging, sent pictures. I even sent a picture with my name and date on paper like they asked, to prove I was real. We emailed a lot. I made a $200 deposit.

Then I got a notification from Chime about a new debit card order on my account, which was weird. Also, in one part of the conversation, she seemed to forget she had told me she was in New York and said Ohio instead.

When I tried to call the number, (706) 303-0025, there was just resistance. I haven't heard from her since. The email was [email protected] and the site was linked on harbourpet.com. I just want my money back or some real answers.
