Tried to buy kittens and the shipping fee kept going up

I tried to buy kittens from Bluebells Persian Cattery. I found them on Facebook and their email is [email protected]. They said the address was 24 Dewitt St in Buffalo, NY.

They told me to send $250 per kitten as a deposit and that $250 would be the shipping fee. I sent the money. Then after that, they said the shipping fee was actually an additional $599 to $899. They never mentioned that price before. It just kept expanding.

In total I lost $7500. I was just trying to purchase the kittens. This whole thing felt off and didn't make sense.
