Text saying I was approved for a loan I never applied for

Got a text out of nowhere from some number 1(470) 256-4514 saying it was Borrowly and that I applied for a loan and was approved. I never applied for any loan. Then right after that I got three more texts from a 5 digit short code number.

The first text had a link in it and they want you to click on it. The person in the text is named Tony. It just feels like a way to get me to click something I should not. I did not lose any money but it was just weird and annoying.

Text message saying my credit request was approved

I got a text I didn’t ask for saying my request was approved. I never applied for anything from them. The text had a link to go.borrowly.io.

I didn’t click it because it felt weird. No company name in the message just that website. I don’t know how they got my number. I didn’t lose any money but it’s annoying getting stuff like that.

Strange texts about a loan I never applied for from Borrowly

I got a text from a 70739 number saying my name and that they were preparing my Borrowly request and to check my final total amount. Then another one saying welcome to Borrowly and my application was received. I never applied for anything.

Then a guy named Tony called me from 1 (470) 256-4516 saying to login and verify to continue. I called that number back and just got a recorded message. The app asks for the last 4 of your SSN and already has your phone number in there. Something felt off about the whole thing.
