Bags from retiring bakery turned out to be plastic lined

I ordered two bags from this site, brennerbakery.com, they claim to be a small bakery in Rhinebeck NY that's retiring and selling handmade beeswax coated bags for bread. I paid $34.95 total. When the package arrived it wasn't anything like what they showed online. The bags have plastic lining inside, not beeswax. So the whole thing about keeping bread fresh just isn't there. The bags look mass produced, not handmade or artisanal at all. Total bait and switch.

I emailed them asking for a refund and they said I have to ship the items back to China on my own dime. The shipping cost would be more than what I paid for the bags. So basically I'm stuck with these plastic lined bags I didn't want.

Brenner bread bags were nothing like the ad showed

I saw this ad on Facebook for a Brenner Bread Bag that was supposed to keep sourdough and other baked goods fresh because it had a beeswax liner. People in the comments were saying it worked great and was just like the description so I ordered a few for early Christmas gifts.

The bags came today and they are nothing like what was shown. Very cheaply made, no brand name on them like in the ad, and definitely no beeswax lining. I paid 117.82 dollars for this. Complete scam and I'm really upset.

They also had a page on AOL under Brenner Bakery and the email they used was [email protected]. Their address says Rhinebeck, NY but it says taken down now.

Ordered bread bags from a Facebook ad and never got anything

I saw an ad on Facebook for this bakery and went to their website brennerbakery.com to order some bread bags. It looked real enough. I placed the order and paid $34.95.

I never got a confirmation email. I did take a screenshot of the order page just in case. The website doesn't even work anymore when I try to go back. I never received the product either. I know I shouldn't order stuff from Facebook ads but I did it anyway. Their address is 25 Brenner Dr, Congers, NY 10920 and the email they gave was [email protected]. Just nothing showed up.
