Hired for remote assistant job but never paid for the hours I worked

I was hired as a Contractor for a Remote Assistant position with Bright Ocean Cleaning. I filled out all the onboarding paperwork and gave them my Driver license and social security card. I worked 10 hours total and never got paid a cent.

The owner was supposed to train me but kept saying she was too busy. First week she told me she got sick. Then the next week she worked me 5 hours on Monday and 5 hours on Tuesday. Wednesday she told me to take off and then said she was busy again. She promised me 40 hours a week but it was all a lie. I think she just wanted my personal info. I live in Biloxi, Mississippi and this whole thing feels wrong. Their number is (720) 955-2134 and the website is www.brightoceancleaning.com.
