Lost $90,000 to a crypto scam after getting texts from Eleanor Lee

I got a text out of the blue from someone named Eleanor Lee. We started talking and she told me about this site BTCC.US. She said she could help me make money by investing in crypto futures. She was telling me exactly when to put my money in and when to sell to make a profit.

She had me use Coinbase and Imtoken to transfer Ethereum over to BTCC. Everything seemed fine until I tried to take my money out. That’s when BTCC said I had to pay all these different penalty fees before I could withdraw. When I contacted BTCC.US directly, they told me they had no record of my account at all. They said those recipient addresses weren’t even on their platform.

Then in November 2025, Eleanor Lee messaged me again saying she would help me recover the funds. But after that, she just disappeared completely. I’m out $90,000.
