Email saying my husband's business needs to file annual report by 2026

They’ve emailed us a few times now. The email says my husband’s business needs to file its Annual Report or Registration Fee no later than 06/30/2026. They claim he has to file with them to stay compliant with laws and regulations so he doesn’t get penalties.

It’s just a scare tactic. That’s what a lot of scammers do. The website is busfile.org and they have an address in Dayton, Ohio. The email came from [email protected] and the phone number they gave is (888) 701-6450. We didn’t lose any money, but it’s annoying getting these emails.
