Got a letter about my new LLC asking for money for a certificate
It lists a Certificate of Status for $87.25, Labor Law Posters for $92.25, or a combo for $162.00. It tells me to scan something to pay by e-check or card, or go to complytoday.online/MD. The phone number on it is 888-704-6416. This feels off to me. I never asked for this and I'm not sure what it's really for.
Got a letter about our new business asking for money, seems like a scam
Their website they listed doesn't even exist. And when you call the phone number, it just goes to a recording that tries to get more information out of you. This is totally a scam.
It didn't cost us anything because we knew better, but for someone new to this, it could really trick them into paying.
Got mail asking me to pay for a certificate and labor law poster
I never ordered anything from them. It just showed up in the mail. It feels like a fake bill or something. I'm not paying for things I didn't ask for.
