Shoes from fake US website came from China and were garbage

I ordered some orthopedic flip flops from this website bymayberry.com. The site says Mayberry North Carolina at the top and even says Free Shipping in the USA. So I thought it was a US company. Turns out they don't have any warehouses or stores here. They're in Asia and the home office is in Belgium.

When the shoes finally showed up they were just trash. Not orthopedic at all. Hardly even flip flops. So now I'm stuck with useless shoes and I have to pay to ship them back to China plus a 15% restocking fee. Almost not worth sending them back but I am anyway. Their phone number 1(929) 758-8864 looks like a US number but when I looked it up it's just a forwarding number to somewhere else probably Belgium. I wouldn't buy anything from this rip-off.

Ordered sandals that fell apart and they wanted me to ship to China

I ordered sandals from their website bymayberry.com. Soon as I took them out of the package I could tell they were just cheap. They had a real strong chemical smell and the buckle didn't even work right. The buckle was just attached to a strap with nothing to hook it onto.

I emailed them asking to send them back. They wrote me back twice trying to get me to keep them for a discount. I said no both times. Then they told me I had to mail them back to China on my own dime plus pay a 15% restocking fee. I lost about $50 on this.

Ordered dresses for graduation and ended up with nothing but problems

I was looking for a dress for my daughter's graduation and these dresses came up under the shopping tab on Google. They said they were from North Carolina but that turned out to be a lie. I ordered 2 dresses.

After a few days the dresses still hadn't left the warehouse. I asked to cancel but they said no. I asked again when they still didn't show up. After 17 days the dresses finally came, way after the event. The quality was horrible, you can see right through them. I contacted them 6 times asking for a refund and they never gave me any info. The only reply I got said I could buy more stuff for $14.95 each. I wrote back saying I don't want more merchandise, I just want my money back.

Ordered clothes from a site that lied about being women-owned in the US

I bought something from bymayberry.com for about $300. The website says it’s a US-based women-owned clothing store. But the pictures are all photoshopped and the colors are changed to make things look way better than what they actually are.

I did some digging and found out they run as AMSTUDIO with offices in Belgium and China. They target middle aged and older women. I tried to find one real article about the three women founders they talk about on their about us page. Nothing. I really doubt they are in the US or that the products are made here. Probably not even owned by women. The whole thing feels like a scam.

Their phone number is 1(980) 317-2472 and email is [email protected]. I just want people to know.

Website said Belgium but shipping label came from California

I ordered from this website thinking they were based in Belgium like it said on the site. The shipping label I got shows an address in California. That should have been my first red flag.

The shoes I got are total crap. No labeling at all about what materials they're made of. The return policy is ridiculous too. They want me to ship it back to China and pay a restocking fee on top of that. I'm out $131. I guess I'll just donate them to Goodwill but honestly I doubt anyone would even want them.

Website promised easy returns but charged me to send things back

I ordered from their website https://www.bymayberry.com/ and they advertise easy returns within 30 days. They say your satisfaction always comes first. But when I tried to return something they offered me 20% back just to avoid the hassle of sending things back to China.

They also charge you to send things back. Complete scam. Products are not as described. I lost $70.00.

Ordered leather sandals and got cheap rubber flip-flops instead

I ordered sandals from ByMayberry.com because they said they were leather. What I got was a cheap pair of rubber flip-flops. Nothing like what was in the pictures.

I called the number on the site 1(980) 317-2472 and emailed [email protected] but no reply. They are based in NC, USA I think. I lost $40.00 on this.

I saw other complaints online where people said the same thing. They order one thing and get a cheap imitation. Just wanted to add my experience.

Ordered clothes that were way too small and they want me to pay return shipping to China

I ordered a shirt and a pair of shoes from this website. Neither one fit because the sizes on their site are totally wrong. They were several sizes too small. The quality was really bad too.

Now they want me to pay to ship everything back to China plus customs duties. But the stuff was misrepresented on their website. They even claim to be based in North Carolina but that’s clearly not true. I want all my money back and they should pay for the return since they sold me wrong items.

Ordered shoes and now they won’t give me a return

I bought shoes from bymayberry.com and they just won’t share the return process. The shoes were completely unworn, still in the original packaging. I sent them photos and answered all their questions but they kept saying they could send me extra items if I paid shipping instead. I lost $49.99. I just wanted to send them back.

Ordered a photo online and got sent something completely different

I saw a photo advertised on bymayberry.com and decided to buy it. It cost me $49.99. The picture they showed on the site is not what showed up in my mail. What I got looks nothing like it.

I tried to contact them about it. I used the email address listed, [email protected]. I haven't heard anything back. It just feels like a complete bait and switch. I paid for one thing and they sent me something else entirely.

Ordered a sweater from bymayberry and got a completely different item

I ordered clothing from the website bymayberry.com and what they sent is not what was shown online at all. The material is different and the colors are not the same. It took over two weeks to get my item.

As soon as I got it, I contacted the company. Their site says to email [email protected] for returns. I told them the exact problem and even sent a picture. The product online was a light tan, thick sweater. They sent me a thin yellow sweater.

Then they made it really difficult to return the item and just refused to help. I lost $53.96 on this order from their NC location.

Ordered a dress that arrived dirty with no labels, now they won't take it back.

I bought an item thinking it was from a company in North Carolina because of the name. I checked the return policy first, which said items had to be clean and unworn with the original labels.

Well, my dress arrived today. It was dirty, there were no labels attached to the garment itself, and there was no packing list. The quality was horrible. I went on the website to start a return and it says they don't accept returns on dirty items with no labels. But that's exactly what they sent to me.

Their return address is in China. It would cost me more to ship it back than I paid, and I'd never get my money back in time anyway. This feels like a total scam.
