Wired money for a 1970 Chevelle SS that never showed up

I found a 1970 Chevelle SS on a site called calscollectibles.com and thought I was buying from Cal’s Collectibles in Idaho. The price was 29,000 and they wanted a down payment of 12,900. I wired it to their bank, Eastern Bank in Massachusetts.

They told me the car would be delivered late Wednesday 06/10/2026 or early Thursday at 8 AM. By 11:30 nothing showed up so I called them for an ETA. Never heard back.

Turns out the real Cal’s Collectibles is a legit business but this website has nothing to do with them. I called the real owner Cal Percy at 208-785-6624 and he said he already found out about this scam and filed with the Salt Lake City FBI. Case number 6dd5e32517f745ec600afce879e6615. I filed with the FBI too. Their phone numbers were 986-231-8314 and 986-208-4278.
