Someone pretending to be Capital One took my money and changed my address

I got a call from someone saying they were from Capital One bank. They told me my card was hacked and they were going to send new ones. Then they took my money out of my bank. I paid them off. They changed my address to have all the new cards sent to them, they did that three times. And they locked me out of my emails. The number they used was 1(888) 258-6211.

Got a call pretending to be from Capital One about a credit card

I got a call from someone saying they were from Capital One. The number was (850) 329-0827. They said they needed me to verify an application for a $5,000 credit card. I never applied for any card. It felt off right away, so I didn't give them any information. They were just trying to get my details, I'm sure of it. It was an imposter.

Getting calls and texts pretending to be Capital One to verify my name.

I keep getting these calls and texts. They're saying they're from Capital One and they need to verify my name. The number is (805) 946-7367.

It's not right. I didn't ask for this. It feels like they're just trying to get my information. I'm not falling for it, but it's annoying and it shouldn't be happening.

Got a weird call about a Capital One application I never made

I got this voicemail from someone saying she's Catherine from the Capital One fraud account specialist team. The message was for a "Mr. Patterson." She said they're calling to verify a recent application and to call back as soon as possible.

The number she gave was (855) 522-7663, and she said their hours are Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 8 PM. She left an application ID number, too: 200-004-875-9. She said to refer to that when calling back.

I never applied for anything with Capital One. The whole thing felt off, so I didn't call. It just seems like a phishing attempt.
