A repairman came to my house pretending to be from a company he wasn't.
But then he told me to make the check out to a person, not to the company. That made me worried. I told him I wasn't comfortable writing a check to someone I'd never even talked to before, and that it felt like he was pretending to be someone else. Since he wasn't actually with the garage door company I meant to call, I said I wouldn't pay and asked him to leave.
He said his name was Adam. The number he called from was 706-267-2136.
