Email about a data entry job after applying on LinkedIn

I got an email from [email protected] about my application from LinkedIn for a data entry specialist job. They sent a link in the email to do the next part of the interview process. I did not click it.

Then I got a text from 310-697-7711 saying they got my application from LinkedIn and to check my email for next steps. The email address is obviously fake.

So much fraud coming to me from LinkedIn lately. I deactivated my account. LinkedIn lost my business.
