I got a call about a job offer. They said I would get packages sent to me, check them, and then send them out again. Promised high pay for it.

I didn't lose any money but it felt strange. Just a call about a job that doesn't seem real. No company name really stood out except what they gave me.

Job offer turned out to be a package scam with no company name

Got a call from someone about a job offer. They said I would get a monthly salary just to accept packages, reprint labels, and send them back out. Sounded easy enough so I sent them my info including photos of my ID.

Then a friend told me this was a scam. I went on Google to look into it and found out about this whole process. They had a website www.cargoveracouriers.com and an email [email protected]. Their address is 10200 e girard ave bldg b, Denver, CO 80231. The phone number was (970) 408-2598.

I didn't lose any money but still feels wrong they have my ID now.

Sent my license photo to a job ad that felt off

I applied for a job online and they asked for a copy of my drivers license. I sent a picture of my license but I covered my license number with my thumb. Still I feel so so dumb for even sending it.

Job offer call for a courier job I never applied for

Somebody called me saying I had a job offer for a courier position. They said I put in an application through Indeed, but I know I didn't. They seemed really rushed and in a hurry on the phone. When I wasn't moving fast enough for them they asked what time they could call me back.

Then they sent me an email with links to videos and websites. At first it looked pretty real. But I Googled the company name and the first thing that popped up said it was highly likely a scam. Job offer that wanted my ID and banking info before I even started

Someone called me offering a job for $5000 a month. They said I would be receiving and inspecting packages then sending them out internationally. It sounded good at first.

He sent me an email with a link for my "contact." Then he said after I completed the contract, which included sending a picture of the front and back of my ID plus a picture of me holding my ID, my manager and payroll would reach out. They wanted to set up my desktop and banking information.

I told him I wanted to review the contract first before signing. He said to call him back after I did. He said the number he called from was his personal number. I didn't do it. It felt strange.

Job interview for package handler felt off from the start

I had an interview for a work from home position. The job was receiving packages at my home Monday through Friday, printing labels, and delivering them to UPS, FedEx, post offices, or residents. The pay was a fixed rate bi-weekly totaling up to $4,300.00 with a bonus if qualified for on time delivery. They said the bonus is not split up and paid biweekly.
