Paid for a dumpster and then got scammed out of more money

I had a 20yd dumpster delivered and paid $400 through Cash App. That was supposed to be the price for 7 days. Then some guy showed up at my house and told me the money didn’t get to the right people and I got scammed. Turns out he was the scammer. He demanded $800 or he said he would empty the dumpster.

I paid him. Then the company finally responded and said they would take care of it. They told me they were processing a check for the $800 refund. That was over a month ago and still nothing.
