Sent a deposit for a puppy from a Facebook seller and got scammed

I was looking for a puppy and saw this lady on Facebook pretending to sell Cavapoo and Cavadoodle puppies. She said she needed a deposit before I could get the puppy, so I sent her the money. It was $100.

After I paid, I got suspicious. I found someone else she had messaged and contacted that lady. She told me the same person tried to get a deposit from her too, but told her she lived in North Carolina. She told me she lived in Missouri. The address she gave out was fake, just some bike shop.

The person said their Facebook page had already been taken down. The puppy pictures were fake too. I just want my money back.
