Call saying my flight wasn't guaranteed unless I paid more

I booked a flight through a website that compares different sites and fares. I ended up booking on Cheap Deals Fare, Pittsburgh to Indianapolis, flying out 8/17/26. I booked it on 8/11/26. The flight was $317.98.

Then on 8/14/26 I got a call saying my flight wasn't guaranteed and to get on the plane I needed to pay an extra $630. That made no sense to me so I called United Airlines directly. They had no record of me on that flight at all.

I told the guy this wasn't right and that I was filing a complaint. He hung up on me real quick after that.

Bought airline tickets and they kept my money after I tried to cancel

I bought airline tickets from cheapdealsfare.com. I tried to cancel and they told me I lost my money. They just said they were keeping it.

I called the number on the site, (866) 960-2626, and the person on the phone didn't care. Just said sorry, nothing they could do. I lost $784.60.

No refund, no help, nothing. I don't know what else to do.
