Agreed to buy a car then they asked for more money after delivery offer

I was trying to buy a vehicle and we agreed on a deposit to hold it. They sent me pictures and everything so I could come out there. Then he offered to deliver it instead and that’s when I started thinking something was fishy.

Then a transportation company called me and all of a sudden they were demanding extra money. I do have copies of the supposed bill of lading and his social media pages but those are gone now. I have the whole conversation between his shipper and me.

I lost $500 over this.
