Booked a flight on Cheapvuelos and they immediately tried to change it or charge more

I booked an international ticket on Cheapvuelos.com for the price they advertised. Not even an hour later, they contacted me. They said I had to either change my travel date, change the flight connections, or pay more fees just to get the ticket issued.

I said no to all of that and asked to cancel my booking. Cheapvuelos refused to cancel it. They told me they wouldn't refund the charge.

The charge showed up on my statement from United Airlines, but I didn't book through United at all. They just took the money and wouldn't give it back. I thought you could cancel within 24 hours for a full refund, but they wouldn't do it.
