Call from Ethan at Chime about $1000 rent charge
He said to prevent that I had to transfer that money to a person named Thierry Beauvias and that she would be helping me put the money back in my account. Well I have not received any money back.
Chime closed my account and a specialist took my money
I was unable to get my money back. It was $3,952. The specialist used the phone number 1(844) 244-6363 and the email [email protected]. The money is just gone and I can't get it back from them.
Got a weird call from someone pretending to be Chime fraud department
I told them I don't drive and I haven't been out of state. I was questioning the caller the whole time because they seemed weird for a Chime representative. Something felt off.
After the call, I called Chime itself. They told me they don't do business that way for fraud events. The number that called me was wrong, and they also called me on my new phone number that isn't even on my account—that was my first red flag. People are pretending to be Chime now to steal money or information. Glad I caught it in time.
