Paid for a chimney sweep and got overcharged by people who weren’t even from the company

They showed up to do a chimney sweep but it wasn’t the same people that had the company name on the website. Right away it felt off. They overcharged me about 400 dollars for just a sweep. They said they did a Level 2 inspection but I know they didn’t.

Then they tried to talk me into spending 3 thousand more. When I went to pay them through Cash App it actually popped up and said it was a scam. But I was alone with my kids so I just paid it anyway. I didn’t know what else to do at that point.
