Charged for over a year but my first claim wasn't resolved

I was using the Choice Home Warranty company and had been paying them for about a year and a half to two years. I finally called to place my first claim and it never got resolved. So I canceled my account with them.

Now they're telling me they never got the cancellation. They offered to refund me for one month, but that's it. I paid over $1300 and got nothing for it.
