Got a scam call about a fake charge on my Citi card
I got a phone call saying someone charged $400 from Pennsylvania on my Citi card. I told him it wasn't me. Then he started asking me all these questions and verification stuff for like 35 minutes. He said he closed my accounts and was sending a new card and login in the mail.
I told him I was going to check his info with Citi. He said his name was Robert Steven’s and his employee number was 17208. I called Citi customer service right after and they confirmed there was no charge.
But now I've gotten 4 emails, I don't know if they're from Citi or the scammer, saying there were changes to my account. I just closed both my Citi accounts. I deleted the app and changed all my bank passwords.
