Bought goats online and then the delivery company kept asking for more money

I bought some goats from a breeder who seemed okay at first. But when it was time for delivery they said they had a family emergency and handed the animals over to this third party called Cleveland Express Shipping.

Then the company just kept asking for money for everything. First they wanted $349.99 for an insulated container to ship the goats in. Then they wanted $599.99 for insurance on the delivery. Then they wanted $419.97 for identification tags they said the animals were missing. Then another $800 for vaccination records they said the animals did not have.

We couldn't keep paying all these requests. So they told us we were being charged with animal abandonment and that the goats were turned over to the state and that authorities would contact us. I tried calling the breeder back and they said they could not help me. Their website is www.clevelandexpressshipping.com and their email is [email protected]. They are supposedly at 213 Oak St in Ashland Oregon. I lost about $2169 total.
