Got a job offer by text after doing tasks, then they asked for my ID and bank info

I got a text about a job I applied for on Indeed. We messaged back and forth and they had me do some actual work tasks. After that, they sent me an offer letter for an administration assistant job by email.

The email came from [email protected]. They asked me to send my ID and my direct deposit information for payroll. Something about it felt off, so I didn't send anything. The whole thing just didn't make sense for a real job.
