Call saying I was approved for a $40,000 loan

Someone called me saying they were from Coastal Lending. They told me I was approved for an unsecured loan of $40,000. Then they gave me some phone numbers to call back.

I didn't apply for any loan like that, so it didn't make sense. The number they used was (866) 339-1059. They said they were from Coastal Lending but I have no idea if that's even a real company.

I'm not sure what they wanted but it felt like a phishing thing. I didn't call any of the numbers back.

Phone call saying I was preapproved for $40,000

I keep getting these calls from someone named Sarah saying she’s with Coastal Lending. She says I’ve been preapproved for up to $40,000 in unsecured funding and that no collateral or credit check is needed. Then she says the offer expires by the end of the day and I need to call back at 1-877-883-1508.

This happens multiple times a day now. I was actually looking for financing for a vehicle, but most lenders I’ve dealt with will email me. I reported a version of this before and used the scam tracker to see if anyone else had experienced it. The calls just keep coming though.

Voicemail saying I was preapproved for 40 thousand dollars

I got a voicemail from someone named Sarah from Coastal Lending. She said I was preapproved for up to $40,000 in unsecured funding with no credit check or collateral. Something about same-day approval because of inflation and the offer expires by the end of the day.

She left a number to call back at 1-877-966-0002. I have been looking into buying some property lately so I guess that is why they called. But this whole thing felt off to me. Pretty sure it is a scam so I did not call back.
