My Coinbase account with $150 just disappeared and they say it never existed
I opened an account with Coinbase to learn more about Bitcoin. I made a deposit of $150 over a few weeks and bought some crypto. I checked on it for a few months, then didn't look at it for a while.
When I tried to check my account today, on 2/13/2026, it was just gone. I called and spoke to two different people. They both told me they can't even verify that I ever had an account. So my $150 is lost.
I tried to file a complaint through their system, but it asked for a reference number. The phone representatives never gave me one. The whole thing is strange. I gave them my social security number when I opened the account, and they still can't find any record of me.

Got an email about my bank account being connected to Coinbase
I got an email from plad saying my bank account was connected to Coinbase. It was buried in all the spam emails I've been getting since Christmas. Coinbase is the one who took the money out of my checking account. They debited $3000.
