Got a weird text about a Coinbase charge I never made

I got this text message saying a payment for $812.28 to Coinbase Inc was detected. It told me to call (805) 500-3219 if it wasn't me to stop the payment. Said protecting me from fraud is their priority.

The whole thing felt off. I never made any transaction like that. The message ended with "invited you as a developer" which makes no sense. I looked up the phone number and email they gave, [email protected], and it just seems fake.

I didn't call or click anything. It's clearly a phishing attempt. Just wanted to report this so others know.
