Bought one time but got charged for a subscription anyway

I bought something online and made sure to click the one time purchase box. I was careful about it. But somehow they said I got confused and ended up subscribing. That doesn't make sense to me.

I asked them to cancel my order and stop shipping and give me a refund. They said no because they already shipped it. But I didn't order that. So I asked them to cancel my subscription instead. This was back in May. They sent me an email saying they cancelled my order and subscription.

Then they sent me two more orders and charged me for them. After they said it was cancelled. I had to report it to my bank because they kept saying the same thing about it already being shipped. This is just not right.
