Sent checks that bounced and never got software or my money back

I got two checks from ColdTherapeutics.com to deposit so I could buy some software they wanted. I did my research first, the address and everything looked real. The checks went into my account. Then three days later they both bounced.

I never got the software. They emailed me at [email protected] after the checks didn't clear and asked for my bank account info. I even set up a separate account and sent them a direct deposit form, thinking they'd reimburse me. They never did. They kept trying to get me to pay for the software myself and I said no. I'm out $1225.
