Mail about certificate of status for my LLC asking for money

I’m in the middle of setting up an LLC for my small business. I’ve been working with my attorney to file all the right paperwork. Then on June 11 I got this letter in the mail. It was a “Certificate of Status Request Form” from something calling itself the “Compliance Division” of NY. It asked me to send $87.25 for a certificate.

I showed it to my lawyer and he told me it’s fake. So I’m reporting it. The phone number on it is (888) 704-6416 and the website is complytoday.online/NY. I didn’t lose any money but it felt really off.
