Woman named Maria called about a lawsuit from Seattle

A lady named Maria called me. She said she was with Connor and Moore and that there is a lawsuit out of Seattle Washington for me. She said I need to call before the case gets submitted and that she would come to my house to serve me.

I don't know what this is about. I never heard of them before. The number she called from was (972) 666-7066 and she said they are in Euless, TX. It felt strange. I didn't lose any money but it scared me.

I just wanted to report this because it seems like a debt collection scam or something. They didn't send any papers or proof. Just a phone call saying I need to call them back.

Call from a fake lawyer about a summons for debt

I got a call from 2252577857 saying it was Louisiana State Ping Unit or something like that. The guy said he was from Lawyers Connor and Moore and that I was being sent paperwork for a summons. I Googled the 800 number they gave me and it's not connected to them at all.

Turns out Connor and Moore are debt collectors, not attorneys like he claimed. When you call that 225 number back it basically says they are going to charge you with fraud which I know is illegal for debt collecting. I already reported this to the CPFB too.
