Got a weird job interview process asking me to install a VPN

I applied for a job I saw on LinkedIn. It sent me over to the Corpcomm Inc website to their careers page. They emailed me some questions to fill out in a form. Then they told me to download and install a specific VPN. They gave me an ID, a password, and a license key to use it so I could access a corporate project.

The whole thing felt off. I didn't go through with installing anything. It just didn't seem right for a normal job interview.
