Official-looking letter about our home loan from a lender we haven't used since 2009
The thing is, Countrywide Home Loans hasn't been our lender since 2009. So this is clearly some kind of phishing scam. It just upsets me that stuff like this is legal. There's got to be innocent people out there who fall for these notices and call the number. The number on the letter is (888) 805-0434 and the address they used is 210 Kensington Drive in Sharpsburg, GA.
I just hope someone can do something to stop this kind of thing.
