Pop up ad for quilted Hippy Bag never showed up

I saw a pop up ad for a quilted Hippy Bag on my algorithm. It was going to be a perfect gift for a friend. There was this wonderful story about a 72 year old seamstress in Sausalito, CA selling her bags.

They took my money from my Visa right away. Gofo was the carrier. I started asking questions since I'm only 1000 miles away.

After a lot of time passed and more inquiries, Gofo told me the bag was delivered. No way. And even if it was delivered, there was no notice or picture of the delivered bag. I'm home most of the time and all my neighbors know me. We watch out for each other.

Shut these freaks down. I want my bag or at least my $50 back from Folk-Craft.

Advertised as handmade but just printed images

I ordered from Craft-folk, their website is craft-folk.com. They advertised everything as hand made from different crafters in the US, said it was hand sewn with appliqué. I spent about $100.00 total.

What showed up was not that at all. The items were cheap and it was just an image printed right on the material. Nothing was sewn or appliquéd. No part of it was handmade. I tried emailing them at [email protected] but I haven't gotten any reply. The phone number on the site is 1(724) 865-6422 but I'm not sure it's even real. Just feels like a total ripoff.

Ordered bee hotels that came nothing like they were advertised

I ordered 4 Dots Wild Bee Hotels from this site and they showed up and the quality is just terrible. The whole reason I bought them was because the ad said the bamboo tubes would be smooth so the bees don't get hurt. But they are rough inside and that's exactly what they said wouldn't happen. I took pictures of it.

It's really frustrating because I spent 140 dollars on this and they just lied in the description. The tubes are spiky inside and that's gonna trap the bees or tear their wings up. I got what I paid for I guess but not what they promised.
