Paid $500 for a booth at CraftMania and nobody showed up
A guy named “David” called me and said the booth fee was $500 for a 10x10 space over three days, 10am to 6pm. I agreed and paid through Venmo. He promised they’d advertise and that “thousands of people will be attending” because of ads and other events nearby. But there was zero advertising. The website is gone. The event had no visitors.
I’ve been trying for months to get something in writing from David. He just gives me vague, misleading stuff about advertising and outreach. I feel like he lied. I lost $500 and all that time preparing for something that was set up to fail but with high fees.
