Got a fake cashiers check for furniture I was selling on Craigslist

I was contacted through Craigslist about some furniture I was selling. They sent me a cashiers check for way more than the furniture cost and said I should use the extra to pay the movers. I asked for the moving company name and their contact number. I put the number into Google and it was already linked to a scam. The moving company doesn’t even exist. Their phone number is (917) 371-3365 and the email came from [email protected]. They said they were in Brooklyn, NY 11224. I didn’t lose any money but it felt off right away.

Saw a business on Craigslist falsely using the BBB logo

I saw this business advertising on Craigslist. They have the BBB logo right on their trucks, so I figured they were legit. But when I checked, they aren't actually a part of the BBB at all. That's false advertising.

They use shady business practices and it just seems really unethical. They shouldn't be allowed to operate like this. They should be shut down.
