Xbox seller on Craigslist tried to get me to buy a gift card

I was trying to buy an Xbox from a listing on Craigslist in Spokane. The seller contacted me and asked me to buy an Xbox gift card instead of bringing cash. That felt off to me right away.

So I googled the phone number he gave me, (501) 559-5520. I found out he used the exact same scam on someone else. He had that person text a picture of the card, then he used the card info for himself and never met up. I'm just really thankful that other person reported it, or I might have lost my money too.
