Got a job offer call that seems like a scam after I looked into it
I saw a job listing on Indeed and it looked good, so I sent in my info. Then I got a call from a guy who said his name was Freddie Bridges. He was telling me about the pay, saying they wouldn't pay me until after 30 days and then it would be bi-weekly.
At first I thought it was for a shipping courier job with Amazon or something. But I started looking into it. The website he gave was craterise.com. I found people on Reddit saying this whole thing is a scam. Also, the address he gave, 10200 E Girard Ave in Denver, is just an office building. It doesn't seem right.
The whole thing just feels off. The email was [email protected] and the phone number was 720-707-3956. I'm glad I didn't lose any money, but it was a waste of time and it's frustrating.
