Letter about a life insurance policy from a stranger with my last name

I got a letter in the mail from some company called Crighton LLP. It said there was a life insurance policy from someone who had the same last name as me and he died with no legal heir. They wanted me to contact them and partner up to claim the policy.

They said we would donate some to charity and then split the rest 50/50. It just felt off. The letter had an address in Toronto and a website but no real company name I recognized. I did not call them and I did not send any money. I just wanted to report it.
