Subscription fees I never agreed to from a puppy bowl ad

I bought a puppy lick bowl from an online media ad back in early April 2026. The thing that showed up looked nothing like the ad, it was really cheap quality. But that's not even the worst part.

Now I got a monthly withdrawal hitting my account on the 18th in April, May, and June for some "subscription" fee. I emailed their support and they said it was automatic unless I declined during the payment process on my purchase. I never saw anything about a subscription. I asked them to cancel but now they are ghosting me and their website is gone. I already lost $170.00. I have to go to my bank now to block any more payments.

Dog toy order led to surprise 39.99 charge from Curea.shop

I ordered a dog toy and got it fine. Then today the company tried to take another 39.99 out of my account. My bank flagged it as unusual so they told me about it. I had no idea what Curea.shop was so I looked it up.

Found a report on ScamPulse.com saying they signed people up for a subscription without asking. Then I saw tons of complaints on Reddit about the same thing happening to other people.
