Paid for a puppy on Facebook Marketplace that never showed up

I posted an ad on Facebook Marketplace about selling Pomeranian puppies, and this person Dani Arias reached out to me. Their profile said they were in Kansas, I’m in Massachusetts. We agreed the puppy would be shipped first, then I’d pay after I got it. All the talking was on WhatsApp, just normal contact stuff.

They gave me a bunch of different phone numbers to use for contact and for paying. I tried to send the money through Western Union. The dog never got shipped. Nothing. I lost $650. Their number was (442) 234-7826.
