Fake job posting houses for rent, then they asked for my bank info

I was contacted by someone for a job to post houses for rent on marketplace, Craigslist, and Turbotenant. They said they would pay me $1500 every two weeks. When the payout date came, I never got any money.

I told the person I was talking to, and they gave me a number for who they said was the CEO of the company. That person got back to me and then wanted my personal banking information so they could pay me. That felt completely wrong.

I blocked them instantly. I also reported them to everyone who had reached out about the houses I listed. The whole thing was a scam.
