Hired for a package photo job and then ghosted after a month of work

I got hired by this company to take photos of packages and print labels and then drop them off at my local shipping place and report everything on their dashboard. I did this for a whole month. When it came time to get paid they just stopped answering my emails and phone calls. Never got a dime for my time, gas, or labor.

Job offer about inspecting packages turned into constant calls about other people's mail

I got a call about a job I applied for on Indeed. They said they were new to America and it was work from home, all I had to do was inspect packages and I would get paid. Some packages come in my name, some come in other people's names.

They kept calling me all the time asking about their packages. But when I asked about getting paid my money, they would just go around the question or stop answering completely. I never gave them my social or my real bank account so at least I didn't lose anything.
