Voicemail saying my wages are being verified

Got a voicemail from someone named David Dorsey. He said my wages and source of income and assets are being verified. Said federal law won't let him give details on the voicemail. He said I need to call him before some order gets completed so I can tell my side of the story.

The number was (417) 238-3469. I don't know who this is. They didn't even say a company name. It just sounds like a phishing thing to get me to call back. I didn't lose any money but it felt strange.

Phone call saying my wages are being verified

This guy named David Dorsey called me from (323) 430-6687. Said my wages and assets are being verified for something. Wouldn't tell me what it was for.

He said something about federal law not letting him disclose all the details. That didn't make any sense to me. I didn't lose any money but it felt like a phishing thing. Just a weird phone call out of nowhere.
