Got a call about a debt I don't owe, threatening to take my assets

I got a call from a guy saying he was collecting a debt. He said it was before they file with the county of Los Angeles to go after my assets. That really worried me.

The number was 1(520) 675-1288 and they said they were from CA, USA. But I don't have any debt with them. I never got any letter or anything before this call. It just felt off, like they were trying to scare me into paying something. They didn't even say what the debt was for.
