Job offer email turned into ID theft scare

I got an email about a remote job from DES Global. The website was des-global.com and the email came from [email protected]. I went through the whole thing, got "hired," and they had me send all my personal identification info.

Then they told me to deposit a check into my account for equipment. That's when I caught on. I didn't deposit it, but it was too late—they already had my ID info. I feel stupid for falling for it but I wanted a job.

Their phone number is (863) 243-8181. I didn't lose any money but they have my personal stuff now.
