Called pretending to be Google for business verification

I own a business and was trying to get my Google business verified. I got a call saying they were from Google and my business was being audited for verification. Since I was still trying for the second time to get it verified I thought it was them.

I called the number back and they pretty much acted like they were from Google. They went through all my business info and then said I needed to pay $399 to make sure it was verified and able to be seen. I asked her to send me an email and she would not. I told her I would have to call her back.

She said go to digitalverificationgroup.org and then call her back at 754-654-1021. Her name was Megan. Of course I figured it out and didnt call back.
